It’s a simple fact: Chiropractic care helps people live healthier lives.  As a chiropractor I’m sure you believe this.  I would bet you share this truth with your family, your friends, and your patients.  As a group, the ICS board believes this to be true.

You may have noticed the cover of the journal and several of the articles in the journal center around one purpose and goal.  That goal is 18% by 2018.  It is the ICS’ number-one vision and mission: Triple chiropractic utilization in four years. Yes, you read that correctly.  Triple chiropractic utilization in four years.

If you attended the Spring symposium in Springfield, you have already heard our plan.  You will continue to be inundated with our plan over the next several months and years.  Why? As a chiropractor, you know what you can do to help people. Your work is amazing. With your skills and your love for people, you should be overwhelmed with patient load. Satisfaction surveys prove chiropractic’s appeal. Unfortunately, it’s the best-kept secret in health care. As a whole, we have not done a good enough job of getting that message out. That changes today.  It’s estimated that 6 percent of the general population utilizes chiropractic. By getting the word out about our message of Natural First, our goal in Illinois is 18 percent by the year 2018. Where there is a vision to increase the public’s access to chiropractic care, everyone will prosper.

In order to accomplish this we need your help. The first thing you can do is visit www.18by2018.com. We have a specific and intentional plan that has proven successes.  The state organization in Ohio has pioneered this plan in Ohio, and we are determined to reproduce these amazing results in Illinois. One vision, one mission: specific, attainable, measurable, noble. We are well overdue in becoming a major force in the health care industry, and we already have the skills. Let's get plugged in and demonstrate our excellence. So where do you stand? We are not asking you for money. We are asking you for a response.  Are you in, or are you out?
